I have recently sold my tandem canoe and purchased a solo canoe, so no continuing need for this seat. The frame is made from strong, durable anodized aluminum and tear-resistant foam. When I wanted to paddle this tandem canoe solo, would add the drop-in seat so could be perfectly positioned for solo paddling. The fourth picture is a stock from the manufacturer.

I have also used it to accommodate a third passenger on tandem paddle. It is easily assembled and removed in seconds. It is lightweight at 3 lbs and rated to hold up 300. The first picture in this offer is a cedar strip, tandem, asymmetric canoe that I built several years ago.

Although the seat I am selling is in nearly-new condition, have gotten several years of use from it, which why willing to sell at price offering. The seat is durable, lightweight width adjustable and it requires NO drilling of the canoe. The seat assembly includes the seat, a pair of C clamps, 2 bolts, and tightening knobs.
